Authorities review Assembly election preparations in Baramulla

Baramulla, Aug 16: The District Election Officer (DEO) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, chaired a comprehensive review meeting today at the DC Office meeting hall to ensure thorough preparations for the upcoming Assembly elections.

The DEO highlighted the need to develop a comprehensive database for election personnel and finalise the First Level Check (FLC) procedures for Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).

He also stressed the establishment of a Media Center and the Media Certification and Monitoring Committee (MCMC) to oversee media-related activities.
