Authorities remove roadside encroachments in Sopore

Sopore, Dec 21: The anti-encroachment drive was undertaken by ADC Sopore S A Raina along with police and ARTO Baramulla in Sopore town on Thursday

The drive was held along the roads at main chowk, main bazaar, Iqbal market, Shah Faisal market, Bus Stand and other surrounding markets in town to remove the roadside encroachment of shopkeepers and vendors.

The anti-encroachment drive was undertaken by the ADC Sopore along with a Police team headed by SSP Sopore Shabir Nawab with the help of ARTO Baramulla.

Teams of police and municipal council were asked to undertake a continuous drive against the encroachment, particularly in major market areas in the town.

Meanwhile ADC has warned of continuous action against the shopkeepers and vendors responsible for encroaching the roads in major market areas of Sopore town.
