Aspirants for constable posts hold protest, seek age relaxation

Jammu, Nov 30: Aspirants for constable posts in J&K Police Saturday held protest demonstrations seeking age relaxation and rescheduling of examination.

The written examination for the selection of Police Constables in J&K is being conducted by the J&K Service Selection Board (JKSSB) on December 1, 2024.

“The advertisements were issued after a long gap and many aspirants like us became over-aged. What is our fault? For the past six or seven months, we have been protesting, seeking age relaxation so that we too can appear in the exam. Those who went to the court were given age relaxation but we were left suffering,” protesting aspirants said, demanding rescheduling of examination, besides age relaxation.
