Q: I often get heartburn after meals. Should I worry?

A: Occasional heartburn is common, but frequent burning may signal acid reflux. Avoid heavy, spicy meals and see a doctor if it persists.

Q: My child, 4, eats very little. Is it normal?

A: Many children have small appetites. Offer healthy food in small portions. If weight gain is poor or child seems weak, consult a pediatrician.

Q: I feel tired all the time. Could it be anemia?
A: Possibly. Fatigue, pale skin, and dizziness can signal low hemoglobin. A simple blood test will confirm. Iron-rich foods and supplements may help.

Q: I get frequent headaches. Should I see a doctor?

A: Yes, if headaches are severe, frequent, or with nausea, vision problems, or weakness. They may signal migraines or other conditions needing medical attention.

Q: When can I take the flu vaccine? Who should take it, and who should not?

A: In Kashmir, the best time is September–October, before winter peaks. Almost everyone above 6 months of age should get it, especially: Children, elders (65+), and pregnant women, People with chronic diseases (diabetes, heart, lung, kidney problems), Healthcare workers and caregivers.

Those who should not take it: People with severe allergy to a previous flu shot or vaccine components. Those with high fever (can delay until recovered).
