ASI Muhammad Ismail passes away due to cardiac arrest
Srinagar, Mar 3: Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Muhammad Ismail Malik of Nadoora Duroo, Anantnag passed away after suffering cardiac arrest on Sunday.
Muhammad Ismail Malik, son of Abdul Kadeer Malik, was presently posted as ASI in Traffic Police Srinagar.
According to his family, he complained of uneasiness and was shifted to a hospital where he breathed his last. A pall of gloom descended on his native village when his body reached there.
Hundreds of people from different walks of life participated in his Nimaz-e-Jinaza. Malik had joined the Police as a constable in 1992 and served at different places.
He rose to the post of ASI. His relatives, friends, and colleagues described him as an honest person who diligently performed his duties. “He was always at the forefront of helping people,” said one of his neighbours.
He is survived by his wife, daughter, and two sons. His neighbours, friends, and colleagues thronged his house to extend condolence to his family.
His congregational Fateh Khawani will be observed on March 6.
