Srinagar, Oct 26: Aryans College of Law, Rajpura near Chandigarh, organised a visit to the Parliament at New Delhi for LLB and BA LLB students as part of their academic exposure and practical learning programme.

A statement of Aryans College issued here said that the visit aimed to provide students with a firsthand understanding of the functioning of India’s highest legislative body.

It said that during the visit, the students observed the proceedings of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, gaining valuable insights into legislative processes, parliamentary debates, and law-making procedures.

The statement said that they also visited the Parliament museum, which captures India’s democratic evolution, constitutional development, and major historical milestones.

It said that the students were accompanied by faculty members Pritika, Fatima, Jyoti, and Jaswant.

The statement said that the Parliament officials and guides briefed the students on the roles and responsibilities of Members of Parliament, the drafting and passing of bills, and the importance of parliamentary committees in the governance framework, enriching the students’ academic and practical understanding of the Indian political system.
