Aryans Group of Colleges organises Shikara race
Srinagar, Oct 15: Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura near Chandigarh, organised its 4th Shikara Race at the world-famous Dal Lake in Srinagar. Hundreds of tourists and locals witnessed the event, which was held in association with the White Globe organization, JK.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman of Aryans Group of Colleges, while Adv. Syed Junaid Sadaat, Chairperson of White Globe, presided over the race.
The race commenced with the flag-off by Dr. Anshu Kataria. The winners were awarded during a felicitation ceremony, with Imtiyaz Hussain Akhoon taking 1st place, followed by Adil Ahmad Sheikh in 2nd, John Mohd Khan in 3rd, Firdous Ahmad Khan in 4th, and Ashiq Hussain Moti in 5th.
While addressing and congratulating the winners, Dr. Kataria emphasized that today's youth have great potential in every sphere to lead the country. "It is a proud moment for all, as Aryans students are multi-talented," he said. He highlighted that Aryans students are not only academically strong but also excelling in innovations, noting that the copyright awarded to the Aryans Shikara app by the Government of India is truly remarkable.
Dr. Kataria also mentioned that Aryans students organized a Shikara race last year, which saw participation from hundreds of tourists. In the past, Aryans students have made numerous innovations, including the “Shikara App,” “Solar Boat,” “Ramadhan App,” “Android App,” “eMunshi App,” “Safety Helmet,” “Save Kashmir,” and “Life-Saving Glove” for the Valley.
