Aryans Group of Colleges celebrates Bihar Diwas
Srinagar, Mar 23: Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, near Chandigarh, celebrated ‘Bihar Diwas’ with great enthusiasm.
A statement of the Aryans Group of Colleges issued here said that the event featured cultural programmes, traditional Bihari cuisine, and a fashion show showcasing traditional attire by Aryans students including Engineering, Law, Nursing, Management, Pharmacy, Paramedical, and Physiotherapy.
Chairman of Aryans Group, Anshu Kataria emphasised the importance of preserving Bihar's cultural heritage.
He said that in the past many dignitaries from Bihar including Governor Bihar, Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, and Anand Kumar of the Super 30 fame had blessed Aryans students. He said that the celebration promoted unity and pride among students and faculty members.
Every year on March 22, Bihar Day celebrates the state of Bihar’s formation.
The first Bihar Diwas event was organised in 2010 to commemorate the 111th anniversary of the state.
