Aryans Group College brand ambassador Amir Lone honoured in Patiala
Srinagar, Jan 8: Amir Hussain Lone, para-cricketer from Jammu and Kashmir and brand ambassador of Aryans Group of Colleges, was honoured by Dr. Preeti Yadav, Deputy Commissioner Patiala.
The event, attended by senior officials, celebrated Amir's extraordinary journey of resilience and achievement, marking him as a symbol of determination for students across the nation.
As per the press statement issued, Dr. Preeti Yadav said that the Amir's story was real inspiration not only for the nation but the entire world. She said all students must take inspiration from Amir’s story.
On the occasion, she congratulated Aryans Group of Colleges for making him a brand ambassador.
Amir thanked Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, and urged all to believe in their abilities and dreams.
“Surround yourself with positive influences and keep moving forward. You'll overcome any obstacle and achieve greatness,” he said.
Ms. Manpreet Maan, Dean, Scholarship, & Er. Mudasir, HoD, Aryans College of Engineering, and Md. Sarfraz Alam (IAS), SP, Patiala, were also present.
Born in 1990 in the village of Bijbehara, J&K, Amir met with a horrific accident that resulted in the loss of both his arms. God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar, last year invited Amir Hussain to play the first ball of the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL).
Virat Kohli, Harbhajan Singh, Navjot Sidhu, Ashish Chopra, and Ajay Jadeja have also appreciated his passion for cricket. The cricketer has a unique playing style. He bowls using his legs and bats using his shoulder and neck. It is to be mentioned that established in 2007, Aryans Group is running 8 different colleges, including Engineering, Law, Management, Agriculture, Nursing, Pharmacy, Education, Physiotherapy, etc.
The group is spread over 20 acres of lush green land on Chandigarh-Patiala Highway, near Chandigarh, and caters to over 4000 students from different parts of the country. The organization is committed to providing high-quality education to its students.
