Arrangements for Eid reviewed at Handwara

Kupwara, June 15: The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Handwara, Aziz Ahmad Rather today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the arrangements for celebration of the upcoming festival of Eid-ul-Adha in the sub division Handwara.

The essential aspects were deliberated, with main focus on power and water supply, regulation of prices of essential commodities, sanitation, traffic management, security, electricity, health facilities and other logistics crucial for the auspicious occasion.

The ADC issued directions to the concerned officers to ensure uninterrupted water and power supply throughout the festival.

Furthermore, stringent measures were outlined to curb black-marketing and overpricing of essential commodities.
