Srinagar, Nov 07: The General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) of the Indian Army's Western Command Lieutenant General Manoj Kumar Katiyar on Friday reviewed operational preparedness of troops deployed in forward areas of Jammu, Kathua, Samba and Pathankote.

During the visit, the GOC lauded professionalism, seamless integration of emerging technologies and unwavering commitment of troops to the highest standard of operational excellence.

While lauding the commitment of troops, the Army commander said their resolve and readiness stand as a testament to the Army’s unflinching vigilance and strength of purpose.

Taking to micro-blogging site X (formerly Twitter), Western Command – India Army said: “Lt Gen #ManojKumarKatiyar, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, #ArmyCommander, reviewed the operational preparedness of troops deployed in Forward Areas of #Jammu, #Kathua, #Samba and #Pathankot ensuring they remain poised to respond to any contingency”.
