Army reviews security scenario in north Kashmir

Srinagar, Sep 09: The Chinar Corps Commander, Lt General Rajiv Ghai on Monday conducted a comprehensive review of the security situation in north Kashmir.

He visited Tangdhar sector in Kupwara and met troops. During his visit, the Corps Commander assessed operational preparedness and held interactions with troops on the ground.

He called for maintaining heightened situational awareness and strict vigilance to effectively counter emerging security challenges. The review comes amid ongoing efforts to bolster security along the Line of Control (LoC) and ensure peace in Kashmir.
