Army organises blood donation camp
Kupwara Nov 20: Indian Army, in collaboration with Sub District Hospital Kupwara, organised a blood donation camp in Drugmulla area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
The blood donation camp was organised with the aim “Donate Blood and Save Life.”
The army medical team along with doctors and paramedical staff from SDH Kupwara coordinated the blood donation camp where in a total of 15 civilians from various nearby villages and 40 army personnel donated blood to save the precious lives.
The Kupwara based Vajr Division expressed its heartfelt gratitude to all the donors and participants.
An official said that the blood donation camp is a testament to Army’s unwavering dedication to saving lives and contributing to the health and prosperity of the local populace.
“This collaborative initiative not only showcases the Army’s commitment to the welfare of the people in the Kashmir Valley, but also strengthens the bond between the armed forces and the local community. It reflects a collective effort towards building a healthier and more resilient society. Such initiatives underline the Army’s ethos of service, selflessness, and solidarity,” he added.
Locals expressed their gratitude and thanked Army for organising the blood donation camp and requested for such initiative in the future as well.
