Army opens fire after suspicious movement in Rajouri

Rajouri, Feb 18: Army personnel deployed along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Sunderbani Rajouri area of the Pir Panjal region opened fire after suspicious movement at a forward location.

Official sources said that Army troops deployed at a forward location along the LoC in the Sunderbani sector area picked up a suspicious movement in the early morning hours on Tuesday.

They said, “Soon after picking up this suspicious movement, troops resorted to area domination speculative firing for a brief period.”

Officials expressed apprehensions of a terrorist movement linked with the suspicious movement that was responded to with area domination fire.
