Army soldier dies in landmine explosion near LoC in J&K’s Poonch

Poonch, Dec 09: An army soldier died in a landmine blast along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, officials said.

An official said that a soldier posted in Saujiyan sector of Mandi accidentally stepped on a landmine, which exploded, leading to his death.

The deceased was identified as Havaldar Subhash.

Police has registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up
