Army, Flag Foundation of India unveil 108-ft national flag at Kaman Post

Uri, May 23:   The Indian Army and Flag Foundation of India Thursday dedicated a 108-feet mast national flag to the nation, symbolising national pride and unity at the Line of Control (LoC).

A statement of the Army issued here said that the momentous event took place on May 23, 2024, at Kaman Post, Uri, and was attended by officials of the Indian Army, civil administration, members of the Flag Foundation of India, community leaders, school children, and tourists.

It said that the flag mast, standing tall at 108 feet, is a testament to India’s rich heritage and the enduring spirit of its people.
