Banihal, Nov 18: The Army organised a pre-medical camp for aspirants of the Agnipath scheme at Banihal in Ramban district on Saturday.
A statement of the Army issued here said that a team of qualified medical personnel from the Indian Army Medical Corps conducted the camp.

The camp was aimed at providing aspiring Agniveers with an opportunity to undergo a thorough medical examination to ensure their physical fitness for the rigorous training and demands of serving in the Indian Army.
The medical team conducted a comprehensive range of tests, including height, weight, vision, blood pressure, and overall physical fitness.

The statement said that the initiative was met with a tremendous response from the local youth with over 31 aspirants attending the camp. The Army doctor and his team provided valuable guidance and counseling to the aspirants, addressing their concerns and queries related to the medical examination and the Agnipath scheme.

The statement said that the pre-medical camp was a resounding success, demonstrating the Indian Army's commitment to empowering the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
It said that the initiative received widespread appreciation from the aspirants who recognised the Army's dedication to ensuring the well-being of aspiring Agniveers.
