Army commander reviews preparedness of LoC formations

Rajouri, Feb 27: First time after taking over the charge of strategically important Army's Northern Command, Lt Gen M V Suchindra Kumar visited Line of Control (LoC) areas in Rajouri and Poonch districts.

He reviewed the state of preparedness of army formations deployed along the Line of Control (LoC).

Army Commander was accompanied by General Officer in Commanding White Knight Corps, Lt Gen Naveen Sachdeva besides other senior army commanders.

The visit was primarily focused on reviewing operational preparedness in the area besides interaction with field commanders, commanding officers and troops.

"Lt Gen MV Suchindra Kumar, Army Commander Northern Command visited White Knight Corps to review the operational preparedness," army said in its statement.

The Army Commander reviewed the state of preparedness of the formations deployed along the Line of Control, the statement reads.

The Army Commander visited areas of Bhimber Gali brigade of Ace of Spades Division besides other areas of White Knight Corps.
