Army commander lauds soldiers for 'successful operations’
Srinagar, Oct 04: Lieutenant General M.V. Suchindra Kumar, Army Commander of the Northern Command, accompanied by the Chinar Corps Commander, visited the Rashtriya Rifles (RR) Battalions in Jammu and Kashmir today.
During the high-level visit, they reviewed the operational readiness and recent accomplishments of the troops in the Kashmir division.
As per the official communication, the Army Commander praised the troops for their meticulous planning and flawless execution in recent counter-terrorism operations, particularly in Baramulla and Kulgam districts. “These operations have led to significant successes in neutralizing threats in the region, contributing to enhanced security and stability”.
Addressing the soldiers, as per news agency KINS, Lt Gen Kumar complimented them for their unwavering commitment and professionalism in dealing with evolving security challenges.
He urged all ranks to maintain a high degree of vigilance, especially in the face of persistent threats.
“The visit was part of a broader effort to boost the morale of the troops and ensure that they remain at the forefront of counter-terrorism efforts in Jammu and Kashmir. Both the Army Commanders reaffirmed the army's focus on ensuring peace and security in the region through sustained operations and strong surveillance mechanisms”.
