Army combats raging wildfire in Bhaderwah village
Ramban, Jan 31: The Indian Army's Doda Terriers sprang into action to combat a raging wildfire that threatened to engulf civilian homes in Lanchan Village, Chinta, Bhaderwah, on Friday.
In a statement Delta Force stated that acting promptly on distress calls from the villagers in Lanchan, Chinta , village Bhaderwah., Armys “Doda Terriers” station in the area rushed to the scene to tackle the inferno.
Despite the challenging terrain and rapidly spreading flames, the team worked tirelessly to bring the fire under control, saving precious lives and property.
The timely intervention of the Doda Terriers averted a major disaster, preventing the loss of homes and livelihoods.
The villagers, who were evacuated to safety, expressed their deepest gratitude to the Indian Army for their bravery and selflessness.
