Army Chief visits Command Hospital Udhampur
Jammu, May 12: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Manoj Pande Saturday visited Command Hospital, Udhampur and interacted with the patients and the paramedics.
President Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA) Archana Pande accompanied the COAS during his visit to Command Hospital.
Gen Pande, lauding all ranks for their professionalism, exhorted them to continue striving for excellence.

“General Manoj Pande #COAS and Mrs Archana Pande, President #AWWA visited Command Hospital #Udhampur. This new state-of-the-art infrastructure, with a 650-bed facility, stands as a beacon of advanced healthcare & community development. It is equipped with cutting-edge technologies and eco-friendly features,” ADG-PI posted on ‘X’.
ADG-PI, in an official statement, mentioned that this hospital was virtually inaugurated by the Chief of the Army Staff on April 10, 2024.
The hospital has modern features and facilities - a specialised multi-discipline facility for treatment, a sophisticated medical gas pipeline system, a state-of-the-art fire-fighting mechanism, a central air-conditioning system with optimal patient care and safety standards, and an effluent treatment plant and sewage treatment facility.
