Arms and ammunition recovered during CASO in Rajpora forest

Rajouri, Dec 23: Security forces recovered arms and ammunition during a cordon and search operation conducted in the Rajpora forest area.

According to reliable sources, the operation was jointly launched by 92 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force and SOG Zachaldara.

During the search, a suspicious location was identified, leading to the recovery of ammunition and an explosive device concealed in the forest area, they said.

Officials said the seized items included 90 rounds of INSAS rifle ammunition, 90 rounds of AK-47 ammunition and one Chinese hand grenade.

The recovered material has been taken into custody for further investigation. [KNT]
