APSCC demands probe in Saidpora incident
Srinagar, Jan 27: Chairman The All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee (APSCC) Jagmohan Singh Raina has expressed concern over the alleged stone pelting incidents on the houses of minority Sikh members at Saidpora village in South Kashmir's Pulwama. The committee has demanded a thorough probe in the matter so that the truth comes out.
In a statement Raina said ,"We have very good relations with majority community and have been living peacefully. During the peak militancy in the valley Sikhs never migrated. Despite this there are some elements who want to create a wedge between the majority and minority communities in Kashmir,"
The APSCC Chairman asked the members of both the majority Muslim community and minority Sikh community to remain vigilant so as to defeat the nefarious designs of subversive elements. He said that he has already talked to some of the district level officers so that the members of Sikh community don't feel scared.
Raina said that the need of the hour is that a probe is ordered by the district administration so that culprits behind the incident are exposed. He said that stern action under law should be taken against such people and that such incidents don't get repeated.
