Approval to construct 3 Cr houses revolutionary step: Khatana

New Delhi, June 11:  Senior BJP leader and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Gulam Ali Khatana has said that the government assistance for the construction of three crore houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) which has been approved by the union cabinet in its first meeting under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a revolutionary step.

He said that it would go a long way in addressing the housing needs of the homeless population in the country.

In a statement issued by the BJP MP from New Delhi, Khatana said that J&K homeless people would also be benefitted from this.

“In the last 10 years PM Modi has launched revolutionary schemes for the people of the country like Ayushman card which provides medical treatment for dreaded ailments upto the expenditure of Rs 5 lakh free of cost,” said Khatana.
