Appreciate LG’s outreach to terror victims: Inam Un Nabi
Srinagar, Dec 14: Awami Itihaad Party (AIP) Chief Spokesperson Inam Un Nabi while addressing a workers meeting at Chanderhama and Goshbogh Pattan on Sunday, appreciated Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for reaching out to families affected by terrorism and handing over appointment letters as a gesture of support and rehabilitation.
Inam Un Nabi said “acknowledging the pain of terror-hit families and extending employment support to them is a humane and much-needed step”. “Any effort that restores dignity and provides stability to families who have suffered irreparable loss deserves appreciation,” he said.
At the same time, the AIP spokesperson urged the administration to adopt a broader and more inclusive compassionate policy. He stressed that "similar relief and job support should be extended to families of innocent civilians who were killed during security operations, saying their pain and loss cannot be treated differently," he added.
“Grief does not carry labels. Families who lost innocent members, irrespective of the circumstances, deserve compassion, justice and rehabilitation. A uniform humanitarian approach will help heal wounds and build trust,” Inam Un Nabi said. Inam added that compassionate employment should be guided by principles of fairness and empathy, not selective application and called upon the LG-led administration to ensure no innocent victim’s family feels ignored or forgotten.
