Apni Party leaders pay solidarity visit to Chattabal fire victims
Srinagar, Nov 30: Following instructions from party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, a delegation of party leaders today paid a solidarity visit to the families who lost their homes in a devastating overnight fire incident at Chattabal area.
A party press release stated that Aftab Malik, the party's Provincial Secretary and Chairman of the DDC Srinagar, led a delegation of leaders to meet the fire victims at Danawari Chattabal.
The leaders met with the affected families and extended their unwavering solidarity during this time of grief. Speaking on this occasion, Apni Party leaders have urged the administration to ensure swift financial assistance, followed by adequate compensation for the affected families, so they can rebuild their homes before “Chillai Kalan,” the harsh winter period. The prominent leaders in the delegation included party's District President Srinagar Mohammad Shafi Mir, Working State President Youth Wing and Spokesperson Khalid Rathore, Zonal President Lal Chowk Maqbool Hussain, Halqa President Balhama-A Lateef Hussain Mir, party leader Jeelani Hamid Kumar, Senior Youth Leader Shoaib Dar, Mohsin Zaffar Shah, Jahangir Ali Rather, Syed Naseer Shah, Riyaz Ganie Bhat, Sheikh Nissar, Firdous Saleem and others.
