Apni Party leaders hold meeting at Soiteng

Srinagar, Jan 2: Apni Party Provincial President Mohammad Ashraf Mir on Friday chaired a meeting at Srinagar’s Vethpara Soiteng area, during which participants highlighted various local issues and public grievances. Besides party leaders and senior workers, the meeting was also attended by several respected residents of the area.

The participants highlighted certain public issues that people in the area are facing and expressed concern over the failure of the elected government to address pressing public problems, said a press release.

During the meeting, participants requested party leaders to intervene to ensure that the authorities take necessary steps to resolve these issues, said a press release.  On the occasion, Mohammad Ashraf Mir assured them that he would take up the highlighted issues with the concerned officials to ensure they are promptly addressed. Besides Mir, prominent leaders present at the meeting included Chairman DDC Srinagar and the party’s Provincial Secretary Malik Aftab, senior leader Abdul Rahim Mir, Ghulam Hassan Bhat, Mudasir Aziz Dar, and others.
