Apni Party has vision for women empowerment: Altaf Bukhari

Srinagar, Jun 30: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari today said that his party has a clear vision to ensure the economic, social, and political empowerment of Jammu and Kashmir women.

He added that the prosperity and development of Jammu and Kashmir are incomplete without the equal participation of women. According to a press release, Bukhari  was addressing leaders and senior members of the party’s women’s wing. This gathering was aimed at to outline a strategy for strengthening party women’s wing further.

“During the meeting, the leaders and senior workers from the party’s women’s wing shared their views and perspectives on a range of issues, including some party matters, with President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, who listened to them patiently.”

“On this occasion, the participants outlined a strategy to further strengthen the women’s wing by expanding its base across the valley,” the press release added.

Speaking on the occasion,  Bukhari said,  “Women are an equal and essential part of society when it comes to contributing to prosperity and development. A time is coming when there will be more female representatives in parliament and assemblies, as women are gaining their due rights and demonstrating their talent in every domain of society.”

Apni Party President urged the women leaders and senior workers to intensify their political and public outreach activities in their respective areas to enhance the women wing’s base in all the areas across the valley.”
