AP Vicky Shaw reappointed as Chair of PHDCCI in Kashmir for 4th term
Srinagar, Oct 28: The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) has announced the reappointment of AP Vicky Shaw as the Chair of its Kashmir Region for an unprecedented fourth consecutive term. This decision underscores his exceptional leadership and significant contributions to the region's business community, said a press release.
The announcement was made by Rajeev Juneja, National President of PHDCCI, who officially assumed the presidency at the chamber’s landmark 120th Annual Session. Juneja is the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Mankind Pharma.
“Vicky Shaw is a highly prominent and influential figure in Jammu & Kashmir. His deep-rooted expertise in business is demonstrated through his chairmanship of The Shaw Art Palace, a prestigious and renowned handicraft business group with a celebrated legacy of over 100 years. Further highlighting his diverse leadership roles, Shaw served with distinction for eight years as the President of the Professional Golfers Association of India,” said the press release.
It said under Shaw's guidance, the PHDCCI in Kashmir has successfully executed flagship events and driven impactful policy advocacy with the government. He has been instrumental in establishing the Chamber as the leading and most credible voice for the business community in Jammu & Kashmir. Through his steadfast efforts, PHDCCI has consistently and effectively highlighted critical issues concerning trade, business, and stakeholders at various forums, it further added.
