Anjuman Sharie Shian condemns organising of fashion show

Srinagar, Mar 10: Agha Syed Hassan Mousvi Safvi, President Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman Sharie Shian, has strongly condemned the organising of fashion show in Gulmarg.

In a statement, he said, “With deep sorrow and righteous indignation, I strongly condemn the disgraceful and obscene display that took place in Gulmarg under the preteens of a fashion show. The audacity of organizing such an event during the sacred month of Ramadhan—a time of spiritual purification—goes beyond mere insensitivity. It is a deliberate attempt to undermine the moral and religious values that have defined Kashmir for centuries.”

He  urge all stakeholders—government authorities, hoteliers, cultural promoters, and the general public to refrain from indulging in or promoting such disgraceful activities.
