New Delhi, Dec 3: Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah on Wednesday paid rich tributes to legendary freedom fighter Khudiram Bose on his birth anniversary, calling him an enduring symbol of courage, sacrifice and unwavering patriotism.

In a post on X, Shah hailed Bose as a “great patriot and immortal martyr” who mobilised the youth for armed resistance against British rule and played a crucial role in igniting the spirit of Swadeshi among Indians.

“A symbol of valour, courage and sacrifice for the motherland, Khudiram Bose ji organized the youth for armed revolution for the independence of Mother India and also awakened the countrymen for Swadeshi,” Shah wrote.

He added that despite severe repression from the British government, the young revolutionary remained steadfast in his mission and “happily sacrificed his life for the motherland.”

Shah said the legacy of Bose—one of India’s youngest martyrs—continues to inspire generations. “The heroic saga of Khudiram Bose ji is an invaluable source of inspiration for every youth to put the nation first,” he said.
