In a series of posts on X, Shah highlighted that the reforms bring a “historic reduction” in taxes on more than 390 items, ranging from food, household essentials, construction materials, automobiles, agriculture, and handicrafts to education, healthcare, and insurance.

According to him, the steep tax cuts will ease household expenses, boost savings, and strengthen self-reliance by encouraging the use of indigenous products. The reforms include zero GST on several dairy items, life and health insurance, senior citizen policies, 33 life-saving drugs, and diagnostic kits. Amit Shah said the measures reflect Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to the poor, farmers, youth, and women, while also supporting the middle class through increased disposable income and reduced daily costs.
