Srinagar, April 06: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has strongly criticized the Congress party for its recent statement questioning the relevance of Kashmir, describing it as "shameful" and ignorant of the sacrifices made by Indian soldiers in the region.

Shah emphasized that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India, asserting that every state and citizen of the country holds equal rights over the region. He highlighted the sacrifices of brave soldiers, particularly from Rajasthan, who have laid down their lives for peace and security in Kashmir.

Blaming what he referred to as the "Italian culture" within the Congress party for its lack of understanding of the essence of India, Shah expressed concern that such statements hurt the sentiments of patriotic citizens who value the unity and integrity of the nation.
