Amazon Great Indian Festival begins today

New Delhi, Sep 22: Amazon.in has announced the launch of its annual Great Indian Festival (AGIF) 2025, starting September 23, with Prime members enjoying 24-hour early access from midnight on September 22. Coinciding with the implementation of GST reforms, Amazon has introduced a dedicated storefront – The Great Savings Celebration #GSTBachatUtsav – featuring products with GST-linked discounts across categories including electronics, appliances, daily essentials, fashion, and healthcare.

As part of the initiative, products will carry badges highlighting applicable GST savings. During Prime Early Access, these will read “Prime Deal GST Savings,” while the main event will show “Deal with GST Savings.” Customers can also avail festive offers from sellers, No-Cost EMI options via Amazon Pay Later, and up to 5% assured cashback for Prime members using Amazon Pay Rewards Gold.

Amazon said it has equipped sellers with tools and resources to adapt to the new GST rates effective September 22. While sellers retain control over pricing, the company is automatically updating GST rates for select categories and providing guidance on Product Tax Codes (PTCs), ensuring compliance and smooth transition.

The festival will feature over one lakh products and 30,000 new launches from brands like Samsung, Apple, Titan, Intel, Libas, and L’Oréal. Key deals include the iPhone 15 at Rs 43,749*, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 5G at Rs 71,999*, and discounts of up to 80% across categories. Customers can also enjoy 10% instant discounts on SBI cards and unlimited cashback with the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card.
