Altaf Bukhari urges JKAP cadre to intensify political, public outreach activities
Srinagar, Dec 11: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari today asked the party cadre to intensify political and public outreach activities.
Apni Party leaders and senior workers, including ward presidents from across the Lal Chowk constituency, gathered today at the party office in Sheikh Bagh, Srinagar. On the occasion a crucial meeting, aimed at reviewing the cadre’s performance in the constituency, and discussing certain pressing public issues and party matters, was presided over by Altaf Bukhari. The participants were primarily from the Lal Chowk, Raj Bagh, and Ikhrajpora wards.
In the meeting, participants engaged in a focused discussion on public concerns and party matters in the Lal Chowk constituency. Party leaders and senior workers shared their insights and ideas to shape a clear strategy for strengthening the party’s presence and cadre in the area.
Addressing the gathering, Bukhari urged leaders to speed up public outreach in the constituency, identify local issues, so that the party will ensure these issues are promptly brought to the attention of the authorities for resolution.
“It is our duty to reach the people at the grassroots and truly understand their problems. First, we must identify their concerns, then take these issues to the right authorities to ensure swift action. I urge you to step up your efforts in the constituency and engage closely with the people,” he said.
He also instructed the leaders and senior workers to hold meetings with citizens in their areas and tasked them with launching a new membership drive across the constituency.
Besides Altaf Bukahri, the prominent party leaders who were present in the meeting included Youth President & Spokesperson Yawar Dilawar Mir, Provincial Joint Secretary Aamir Ashraf Bhat, District Secretary Peer Wajahat, Ward President Rajbagh Aijaz Shafi, Ward President Ikhrajpora Mohammad Abbas, Ward President Barzulla Abdul Qayoom, Office Secretary District Srinagar Tauseef Bashir, Member Committee District Srinagar Rafiqa Jee and all senior workers from across the constituency.
