Altaf Bukhari to contest north Kashmir parliamentary seat for Apni Party

Bandipora, Dec 7: Apni Party President Altaf Bukhari would contest the parliamentary election from north Kashmir, the party announced on Tuesday.
Apni Party Parliamentary Affairs Committee (PAC) Chairman, Dilawar Mir during a convention in Bandipora, announced the decision made after a party consensus.

Mir said they had chosen him as a candidate for the north Kashmir constituency.
While addressing the convention, Mir urged the people of north Kashmir to vote for Bukhari and ensure his victory with a huge margin.

Mir said that the party’s sole aim was to bring development, employment, and peace to J&K.
Meanwhile, Bukhari said he would fight for equal rights for the people of the region and work for their welfare.
