Altaf Bukhari extends warm greetings to people on Republic Day

Srinagar, Jan 26: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari Thursday extended warm greetings to the people of the country, especially the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the momentous occasion of Republic Day.

“The nation is preparing to celebrate the 74th Republic Day with enthusiasm tomorrow. The day marks the adoption of the country's constitution, which came into effect on this day in 1950. This foundational document —the Constitution— stands as a beacon of democratic principles, assuring citizens of fundamental rights including freedom of speech, expression, religion, personal liberty, and the right to live with dignity. Thus, the day is festive for the citizens of the country," Bukhari in his message said.

He continued, “On this momentous occasion, I extend heartfelt greetings to the people, wishing that this day usher peace and tranquility into our lives and paves the way for prosperity for all".
