Altaf Bukhari greets people on eve of Republic Day

Srinagar, Jan 25: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Sunday extended greetings to the people of the country, especially the people of J&K on the momentous occasion of Republic Day.

In his message, Bukhari said, “As our nation prepares to celebrate the 77th Republic Day tomorrow, I extend my warm greetings to all citizens of the country, especially the people of Jammu and Kashmir. This proud day marks the adoption of our Constitution, which came into force on 26 January 1950.”

He added, “The Constitution is the soul of our democracy. It guarantees every citizen fundamental rights—freedom of speech and expression, freedom of religion, personal liberty, and the right to live with dignity. Republic Day is therefore a celebration of our shared values and democratic spirit.” “May this day bring peace and harmony to our lives and open new paths toward progress and prosperity for all,” he prayed.
