Srinagar, Sep 26: Prominent businessman Syed Muhammad Sulaiman Bukhari of Sangri Colony Baramulla passed away early Friday morning. He was the uncle of Apni Party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari.

Apni Party leaders have expressed their condolences to Bukhari and other members of the family over this loss. Several senior party leaders joined the Nimaz-e-Janaza at Sangri Colony in Baramulla and also visited his ancestral graveyard at Ladoora, Rafiabad, where he was laid to rest. The party leaders also visited the bereaved family to extend their condolences and express solidarity with Bukhari and his family.

Meanwhile, former Chief Minister and Democratic Progressive Azad Party President Ghulam Nabi Azad expressed grief over the passing of Syed Sulaiman Bukhari.

In a statement, he said that “I am deeply saddened to learn about the demise and extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. He prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the family to bear the loss.” Azad described the death as a personal loss to the Bukhari family and conveyed solidarity in their hour of grief.
