‘All 11 Badhaal patients at GMC Rajouri stable’
Rajouri, Jan 28: All eleven patients admitted to the GMC Associated Hospital Rajouri in connection with the mysterious Badhaal deaths are now out of danger and stable.
Hospital authorities have confirmed that the patients are responding well to treatment and are on the path to recovery.
Principal GMC Rajouri, Dr A S Bhatia along with Medical Superintendent Dr Shamim Ahmed stated this in a press conference sharing health bulletin of these patients.
“The patients will be discharged soon, but only after a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is devised to ensure their continued safety and well-being,” they said, while addressing this conference.
The SOP will outline the necessary precautions and follow-up measures to prevent any further complications, they said.
The Principal and Medical Superintendent stated that the recovery of the patients was a welcome relief for the families and the community, which had been grappling with the mysterious deaths.
“All our eleven patients are in the general ward and no one is on ventilator support and this is a big sigh of relief for us,” they stated.
