Akshat Kalash Yatra taken out from Bhadarwah
Bhadarwah, Dec 21: Large number of devotees from different parts of Bhadarwah valley participated in “Akshat Kalash Yatra” on Thursday.
Devotees especially women dressed in traditional colourful attire converged at ancient Hanuman temple located on a huge rock at village Nalthi to join the celebrations of Kalash Yatra.
Before taking out the “Akshat Kalash Yatra” devotees offered prayers and took the blessings of Lord Hanuman.
Several rituals were performed at ancient Hanuman temple in the presence of the Prabhari VHP Chenab rejoin Satish Kotwal, President Shri Sanatan Dharam Sabha, Virendra Razdan and PRI members of the area beside large number of devotees.
Before boarding the vehicles, a procession with 11 Kalashs (Pots) was taken out while singing devotional songs from Nalthi to Sartingal Village.
"These Kalashs which started from Bhadarwah-Khand will go to every area of all the three districts Chinab rejoin and then head for Ayodhya for the idol consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple," said Satish Kotwal of VHP.
"A wave of happiness is passing through the hearts of people because their dream of a grand temple is becoming reality," he added.
