AK rifles, bullets, explosive recovered during CASO in Poonch village

Rajouri, March 24: Security forces on Sunday evening recovered three rifles of AK series, more than 900 bullets and some explosive material including grenades during a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in a village of Poonch district.

The recovery, official sources said, has been made during a CASO launched by security forces on the basis of an information from the area of Sangla falling under Surankote police station jurisdiction.

As per reports, security forces recovered arms, ammunition and explosives during this operation that include three AK 47 weapons, twenty three magazines, nine hundred and twenty two bullets, two stun grenades, three meters wire, nineteen detonators, one timer mechanism watch, one battery pack and three battery connectors, four IEDs, one cylinder, five grenades, around two hundred grams white powder, thirty 9mm ball, safety fuse, pistol rod, pistol cover, clothes, shoes and some other material.
