Ajay Devgn poses in Singham avatar as cop from Jammu and Kashmir Police
Srinagar, May 24: Exuding confidence, Bollywood star Ajay Devgn posed in his Bajirao Singham avatar in a new photo shared on Friday.
Wearing a police uniform, the actor posed with gun-wielding commandos, armoured vehicles, capturing the essence of his iconic character.
“On Duty…AGAIN,” the 55-year-old actor captioned the photo, taken during the Jammu and Kashmir shooting schedule of Rohit Shetty’s "Singham Again," which is set to hit theatres on August 15. In the photo, Ajay sports black shades and leans against a bullet-proof vehicle of J&K Police, with the snow-capped mountains of Kashmir providing a stunning backdrop.
Rohit Shetty also shared the picture on Instagram, highlighting Singham’s new designation. “Bajirao Singham! SSP (SOG) Special Operations Group. Jammu and Kashmir Police. 'Singham Again'. Coming soon,” he wrote.
Fans expressed their excitement in the comments section, with one fan saying, “OG Singham is back again,” while another simply wrote, “Can't wait.”
Previously, the makers of "Singham Again" had released a first-look poster of Ajay roaring like a wounded lion amid flames. “He is Mighty. He is Power. He is Danger. He is Strength. Singham will roar again,” they captioned the poster.
"Singham Again," the fifth film in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe, is a sequel to the 2014 film "Singham Returns." The film features a star-studded cast including Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff.
