AIP intensifies campaign for Budgam by-polls

Budgam, Oct 12: As part of the ongoing election campaign for AIP candidate Nazir Ahmad Khan, former DDC Chairman of Budgam, Awami Itihaad Party (AIP) Chief Spokesperson Inam Un Nabi visited Haran, Narullapora, Sangam and Soibugh, where he addressed a series of public meetings and interacted with enthusiastic supporters, said a press release.

Inam Un Nabi expressed happiness over the growing public support and said, “I was delighted to see even senior associates from National Conference and PDP openly extending support to Er Rashid’s candidate, Nazir Ahmad Khan.”

Inam Un Nabi said the people of Jammu and Kashmir in general, and Budgam in particular, “feel politically orphaned in the absence of MP Er Rashid, who has always been the voice of the voiceless.” He added that the love and admiration people continue to show for Er Rashid is a reflection of their faith in his integrity and leadership.

Reiterating AIP’s commitment towards public welfare, Inam Un Nabi assured the participants that the party will not leave any stone unturned to bring holistic development to Budgam constituency.
