AIP holds rally in Budgam to support its by-polls candidate

Srinagar, Nov  5: Awami Ittehaad Party (AIP) on Sunday organised a massive and spirited election rally across the Budgam Assembly Constituency, drawing an overwhelming response from the public and reaffirming the district’s growing support for AIP candidate Nazir Ahmad Khan.

The rally passed through over 50 villages and localities. At multiple stops, crowds raised pro–Er Rashid slogans and pledged full support to AIP.

Speaking to media persons, Adv G N Shaheen said the unprecedented participation clearly shows that Budgam stands firmly with Nazir Ahmad Khan.

“People have seen his honesty, accessibility, and fearless representation,” Shaheen said. “As DDC Chairman, Nazir Sahab served this district with sincerity, raised every genuine concern of the people, fought for the rights and release of prisoners, and remained available to the public 24×7. That is why Budgam trusts him.”

Shaheen launched a scathing attack on the PDP, accusing the party of decades of exploitation.

AIP candidate Nazir Ahmad Khan, while thanking the people for their participation, said that Budgam has once again demonstrated its political maturity and commitment to genuine leadership.
