AIP condemns harassment of Kashmiris in Himachal

Srinagar, Nov 20: Awami Itihaad Party (AIP) Chief Spokesperson Inam Un Nabi has condemned the harrasment of Kashmiri workers in Himachal Pradesh, calling the viral video that shows intimidation of the workers as “painful, unacceptable and reflective of a growing mindset problem.” Inam said the incident is not an isolated case but part of a disturbing pattern where ordinary Kashmiris working far from home, are stripped of dignity while simply earning their livelihood.

“Behind every face in that video is a family in Kashmir waiting anxiously. Their humiliation is felt across every home in J&K,” he added.

He urged the Governor and Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh to ensure immediate accountability and issue clear ground-level instructions to prevent such targeting.
