AIKS hosts discussion in Delhi on Sazwal’s book
New Delhi, May 19: A book discussion on ëThe Kashmir Chroniclesí authored by Vijay Sazawal was organised by All India Kashmiri Samaj (AIKS) in New Delhi.
The function was presided over by MP Vivek Tankha and the review was presented by Ashok Manwati.
Earlier, the book was released at a function by MoS PMO Jitendra Singh.
President AIKS, Ravinder Pandita after welcoming the chief guest, delivered the keynote address and emphasised the need for the role of civil societies in Kashmir.
Tankha while endorsing abrogation of Article 370 said that he would determine complete peace in Kashmir only when displaced Kashmiri Pandits return to their homes.
Tankha the only KP origin MP in Parliament had earlier moved a 3-day motion on Resettlement Bill 2023 in Rajya Sabha and raised the issue of return of Kashmiri Pandits and reopening of Sharda Peeth on the lines of Kartarpur corridor during a Zero Hour in the last Parliament session.
The event was anchored by Treasurer AIKS, Sudhir Shah.
Prominent members of AIKS including vice presidents Vijay Kashkari and M K Pajan, Arun Shali, and Sanjay Sapru were also present on the occasion.
