Rajouri, Feb 1: Two days after teams from PGI Chandigarh, a team of doctors from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi arrived in Rajouri where they examined the patients in Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri.

Earlier, on Thursday, a team of doctors from PGI Chandigarh had arrived in Rajouri where they saw patients from Badhaal, who are under treatment in GMC Rajouri.

The team, on arrival, went to GMC Associated Hospital Rajouri where it was welcomed by Principal GMC Rajouri, Dr. AS Bhatia

"Doctors from AIIMS conducted a medical analysis of eleven patients from Badhaal who are under treatment in medical college," said officials.

Principal GMC Rajouri , Dr. AS Bhatia gave detailed information to the team that include history of patients, line of treatment followed and further line of treatment being followed, added officials.

This team of four doctors of AIIMS also examined eleven patients hospitalised in the medical college Rajouri. Besides, the team members also separately talked to the a survivor from the first cluster of deaths reported on December 7 in Badhaal village of Rajouri.Thereafter, the doctors’ team also visited separation facilities made for the people of Badhaal village in Rajouri and also talked to the people kept there.

As per officials, the team of AIIMS doctors may also visit affected Badhaal village to review the field situation. Meanwhile, for the last three days, the team of PGI Chandigarh, which includes three doctors, has been camping in Rajouri. The team members visited Badhaal village on Saturday. The team members interacted with the people living in Badhaal village and also collected some samples from the houses of the deceased and the houses of the sick people, which the team will take with them for investigation.
