Ahad Zargar Memorial Research Foundation elects new body

Srinagar, May 4: Ahad Zargar Memorial Research Foundation (AZMRF) elected its new body during a special session held under the chair of Merajuddin Shah, former Additional Secretary of Jammu & Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages at Narwara in Downtown here.

Eminent writer Rafiq Raaz was elected as the President, Prof Majruh Rashid as Vice President, Qaisar Zargar as General Secretary, while Merajuddin Ahmad was elected as Media Secretary respectively.

The newly constituted Editorial Board comprising Yousuf Jahangir, Mushtaque Barq, Mashru Nasibabadi also took charge of publication of the periodical Rang-Mar and other publications of the Foundation. Satish Vimal was nominated as the Chief Advisor for the Foundation. The new body discussed the future programmes and holding of seminars.
