Afternoon rains, thundershower with gusty winds in J&K till June 23, says MeT

Srinagar, June 15: The Meteorological department today predicted brief spell of rain with gusty winds during afternoon hours at isolated to scattered places of Jammu and Kashmir till June 23.

"From June 15-20, brief spell of rain/thundershower with gusty winds mainly towards afternoon/late afternoon at isolated to scattered places are expected in J&K," an MeT official said.

He also said that the weather will likely remain generally cloudy with intermittent spells of rain & thundershower at many places of J&K from June 21-23.

The official advised farmers to continue farm operations in the meanwhile.
